Policies and conditions of our services
Please read our terms and conditions carefully before making a reservation.
Reservation Policies
The rates published are valid on the day of quotation or, if you request a quotation directly from one of our advisors, a deadline is set to make the given price valid. If a subsequent request is made, there may be variation.
When booking on our website, the confirmation receipt will be sent after payment has been made. Until that moment, it is considered a complete reservation. You can book with full payment or half (50%) as desired. If half payment is made, the balance must be paid in cash when boarding on the day of the tour.
Service reservations are subject to availability at the time of confirming your request and cannot be guaranteed until partial (50%) or full payment has been received.
After reservation and payment confirmation, we ask you to keep the corresponding receipt (digital or printed) and present it at the time of the service (it is not necessary to print it).
We suggest reading the cancellation policies as any reservation change is subject to availability and re-quotation of rates. Remember to have your reservation receipt handy and contact us at (+52) 9993555048.
Prices are per person and include the services indicated in the description. All our rates include VAT and are invoiceable if desired within the month of purchase.

To be able to make a full refund, it is necessary to cancel with a minimum of 10 days in advance (if payment was made by card, 5% of the total amount paid will be deducted). For the refund, the transfer data is requested (CLABE account, bank and person's name) or if possible, the payment is cancelled within the same online payment platform that you used with the card (this refund is reflected in your bank statement).
If you cancel with less than 5 days notice, you will be given an open-date coupon for the contracted tour services, which can be scheduled later. It has a validity of 1 year for its use and can be transferable (subject to availability of current services and price updates). In these cases, refund requests will no longer be allowed in the future.
If cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, the tour can be rescheduled for later dates. Refunds do not apply. In case of not showing up for the tour, the total amount paid for the reservation is lost.
In shared services, the tolerance time for boarding any of our tours is a maximum of 10 minutes at each meeting point established in Mérida. We recommend arriving on time or about 10 minutes early, as the order in which you arrive at the point will determine how you board the vehicle.
In case of arriving late to your meeting point, you will have to contact us at (+52) 9992752209 to provide you with options where you can join the tour.
For tours, in case the minimum number of expected travelers does not show up, bad weather, earthquakes, hurricanes, landslides, strikes or any justified eventuality, Barroso Travel will be forced to suspend any of the scheduled tours and grant them on another date, choose another tour that does take place, or in case the passenger does not have another date to take the tour, the amount will be refunded in full. In these cases, we will contact you one day before the tour to inform you about the situation and give you the available options, making sure you are aware of any eventuality.
In the packages offered, Barroso Travel reserves the right to modify the travel itinerary of the tours according to availability or the planned hotels only in case it is essential for better organization or if there are force majeure circumstances that require it.

If you do not have a defined date to reschedule the tour, you will be given an open-date coupon for the contracted tour services, which can be scheduled later. It has a validity of 1 year for its use and can be transferable (subject to availability of current services and price updates). If the cost of the tour is higher, the difference between the current total and the total indicated on the receipt must be paid. It is important to mention that to guarantee availability, it is recommended to request the new dates more than a week in advance.

If you carry additional luggage beyond what is permitted, a payment of $500 per extra suitcase must be considered.
Barroso Travel reserves the right to reject any client at any time. This applies to cases where it is considered that the person is not in condition to take or continue with the tour (if they have drunk too much alcohol, cause conflicts with other travelers or staff, do not comply with the instructions and times established by the assigned guide, or any valid cause that implies any type of harm to third parties).
